Is it possible to play torrent-dowloaded games online? (If they have online play- Ex: Call of Duty)?

Has anyone ever downloaded a game for free (torrent), then played it online? Is it possible? Just a question...please no hate answers.

It's possible if you play on cracked servers. I wouldn't recommend it though since cracked servers are filled with guys with aimbots and hacks.

You can't play on the official servers because almost all of them check for legit CD keys.

Depends on what you downloaded, if you have a legit CD key or serial number, and again what you downloaded. Most torrents have the full game in them so your safe unless you don't have a serial.

well... it depends on the game actually.... it works with counter strike though... basically its the games that you have to log in on an account that dont work cuz well... u didnt buy it... games like counter strike search for servers right from the game start and have no central host like (battle.net for warcraft) but wou can download 'Garena' its an online gaming software with its users and experience levels.. and its completely free... maybe your game is supported by it.... havent played call of duty though ..so no idea...hope this helped.......later
