I already have a Pandora Battery, I'm looking to know what I need to install the firmware. As I understand it, I need to make a magic memorystick but all the tutorials assume that I have access to a PSP with custom firmware. Thanks in advance.

1. go to that website

2. click the orange download bar when you scroll down.

3. after that extract it by using winzip or winrar.

4.click the face that says START

5.follow instructions

6. when making it a magic memory stick it will ask you to format. so format it.

7. after doing all that you've made magic memory stick.

8. insert magic memory stick and pandora.

9. then it will say press X to install 3.71 m33. so install it. it will take a few minutes.

10.it will ask you to restart. so restart by pressing X when it says to press it.

11.enjoy! you've got a custom firmware.

By having a Pandora's Battery, it pretty much eliminates the need for the CFW enabled PSP.

just download the links below

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SQWZ3BJD

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6BEZAC78

extract the files from the rar, and you should see

Jigkick Memory Stick Contents

and

Pandora's Battery Creator Kit

in folders, open the Contents folder and copy everything from the folder into the root of your memory stick.

open the creator kit and enter pandora_pc, go into the installer and doubleclick the Installer.

put the letter which is recognised by the computer ie. F or H etc

and press enter

press y then enter and press any key.

you now have a jigkick memory stick.

you will need to download Despertar del Cementerio from Dark-alex. org

install it onto your memory stick and you will be able to downgrade your psp.

remember to put your memorystick in before the battery.

Ok its great to hear that you have a Pandora Battery! Now first you need is a magic memory stick (below I pasted a link on making one). Ok here's the steps.

1) Put in your Magic Memorystick

2) Put in your pandora battery

3) The psp should turn on by it self

4) follow these instructions:

X Button: To downgrade using the ms0:/UPDATE.PBP file.

O button: To backup NAND to ms0:/nand-dump.bin

Square button: To restore NAND from mso:/nand-dump.bin. Another two options here:

L+R+Start+Select to restore NAND with IDStorage Keys: Use this option ONLY if the nand-dump-bin file coms from your own PSP. Otherwise you will mess your IDStorage and the UMD Drive, Wifi, etc will stop working.

X to restore NAND without the IDStorage Keys: This is the safe option if you are installing a nand-dump.bin file coming from a different PSP. Also valid if you just do not want to rewrite your own IDStorage keys

MUAHAHAHAHA The PSP is the excellent hand-held ever. i'm listening to music utilising IR Shell 3.7 and its surprising. Sony extremely desires to grant human beings motives to apply their respectable firmware.
