I am supposed to follow Erandur into the nightcaller temple to help solve the mystery in Dawnstar. However, when I enter the temple he is nowhere to be found. I've tried re-loading the auto save, re-loading the main save, and he's never there. This is for PS3. I've gone ahead and done other quests and everytime I come back to this, he is still not there. Is this quest permanently glitched? It's the last Daedra quest I need to complete. I've already finished the main quest and put in over 140 hours of playtime. No way I want to start over. Help?

I think you should have let him enter the temple first before you did?

When coming out of the door of the inn, he wasn't outside the inn until I entered the inn again and let him come out first. So that's what I did all the way to the temple -- let him go first.

I finished the quest, no bug problem whatsoever, I guess you can try updating the patch.

I have the same problem. The only way to fix it is to start over or revert to a previous save. I am on the Xbox 360, but the problem seems to be universal.

If you decide to revert to a previous save or make a new character, there is a possibility that the glitch will reappear. I suggest searching for a video tutorial on how to complete the quest properly. YouTube is your best bet.

Always remember to save before you start a quest.

once element 20 you may bypass to a museum in Dawnstar, a guy asks you to do a quest for him and on the right you visit the shrine of Mehrunes Dagon the position 4 daedra attack you and also you get 4 hearts from it. they are dremora reminiscent of struggling with a bandit and what no longer.
