Fallout 3, break up the marriage on Tranquility Lane?

Question

I'm totally lost on what to do in Fallout 3. I'm at the part in Vault 112 where I'm the kid on Tranquility Lane. I made the other kid cry, now I need to break up the marriage between the two adults to progress. I can't figure out what to do. I've talked to everyone in the neighborhood, I've talked to both the marriage partners, I've tried to Pickpocket and beat them both, and nothing works. What do I do?

If you read her journal upstairs it says how she should have beaten the other girl to death with a rolling pin. So take the rolling pin on the table and beat the crap out of her (not the wife, I forget her name) .Or if you don't want to do all these bad deeds you could go into the abandonned house and find the music pattern to unlock his secret terminal. Either way good luck.

IGN.com had a great walkthrough of this part linked below. Basically, you have to find some naughty underwear in the house and put it in the basement on a dresser. You then go tell the wife that her hubbie is cheating on her and she follows you to the basement. When she sees the underwear, she will run out never to return!



Keep in mind this is the bad karma route. For the good karma route, go to the abandoned house and click the 4 objects to make a song (nuka bottle, gnome, brick, radio(?)). If you do it in the wrong order, you will hear a noise after the tone. If you do it right, a computer terminal will open and you can initiate the Chinese Invasion program which kills everyone for you. Then you can just step through the door and you are done. Much quicker.
