questions about the sims 2?

Question

Question 1:
How can i view things on bird's eye view on Live Mode and not just build and buy mode? Because im makin a movie and need to film from birds eye view.

Question 2:
I downloaded the mesh's and put the files and other things to it into the Download folder for my sims. But on the game when i go onto my custom content there just bald styles. Why? Well - i'm not sure if i still have the mesh's because i did it awhile ago but im guessing i have. Iv'e never bin able to do this.

Question 3:
What do you think to the lastest Sims 2 Bon Voyage? Because i'm buying it tomorrow. Is it worth the £20?


Question 4:
I Have the sims 2 night life. But i only have the disc, i lost the box and can't find it! I need it because it has the serial number in. I read somehwere that you can copy the game onto the computer and send it to maxis and they send you a new serial number. I really don't want to do that. Is there any other way of getting a serial number for it ?

There is a toggle button to your left while playing that will give you the birds eye view.



On your custom content, sounds like you don't have the mesh. Are you downloading hair styles? If you remember the site, go in and find the mesh, otherwise just delete them. Let me know if you know how to do downloads for custom content, more than happy to give you details.



Sims 2 Bon Voyage is great. Love sending my Sims on vacation and honeymoons after getting married. All you have to do is book your honeymoon, once the sim get's married off they go! Also, they get more added features: sunburns, tans, skills with other things, scavenging for items and jewelry. Yes, worth the money.



Did you register your game? If so EA will have it on their site for you to find. If not try this:

Go to the computer the game is installed upon, and click Start> Run. In the box, type regedit and hit the enter key.



Click the little + sign next to where it says:



HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

In the pane on the right, you will see something that says default, reg_sz. In the column entitled Data you will see a string of letters and numbers. This is the license key for your copy of The Sims2.

Q1: Press the "tab" button in Live mode and then you are in camera mode. You can control the angle with the mouse and record video like normal.



Q3: For me, Bon Voyage only slowed down my game, because it takes a while to load anyway and there are so many loading screens to even move from location to location within the holiday destination. But if you have a fast machine then it would be worth the buy :)

1. Try camera man mode

2.Try redownloading the mesh and recolors

3. No, I didnt think so it made my computer very slow and was very glitchy

4. You can send 10 dollars to EA for a new serial number.
