Whats the game called where you drive the little cars (every car is different color), its played a small square kind of field type map.. But as you drive the color of your car leaves a line behind you (the same as your car) and anyone that touches it (including yourself) dies.. So as you keep playing you gradually have less and less playing field. Its an old school kind of game.. I just cant remember what its called and no matter what I look up it just brings me to a bunch of stupid, completely unrelated games :) I know it maybe be hard to figure out what game it is from this description, but please; if anyone knows what its called.. Let me know? :)

Hello!

The game you are describing seems to sound familiar to a game we sometimes play in our offices, it's called BMTron, and it's the same concept as you described above. Note that there are 2 version of this game. We're 100% Sure this is the game you are talking about! Here are two links to the game for both version of the game.

It was TRON. Specifically it was called The Light Cycle Grid, one of four avenues you had to successively complete to advance one level. This video game released slightly earlier than the 1982 movie of the same name. It was placed by Disney free of charge in all theater lobby's, video arcades, bowling alleys, 7-11's.....etc. and took off very well. It was the first video game to incorporate a full sized handle multi directional, pistol trigger joy stick and 360 degree knob/wheel. The graphics were light years ahead of 1982's technology. And it also had the bitchiest sound of any video game of the time. It played the theme song from the movie and most all sound affects from the movie too. It was so cool. It was like playing the movie that stared Jeff Bridges, Bruce Boxleitner (Tron) & Cindy Morgan. It started taking kids quarters, first by the 100's, then by the 1000's, then the movie opened. Millions upon millions of dollars started rolling in. Now you understand the "free of charge" part. No movie house or video arcade had any rights to that money. "DISNEY", must be proclaimed as probably one of the most innovative entrepreneurs of all time. I'll bet ya adjusted for inflation, Walt Disney would own Bill Gates. I can speak for myself and my group of friends. We would plan travel around that game. There is no telling how much money I put into a TRON video game. But I can tell you it was a LOT!!
