Add On question for World of Warcraft......?

I have WoW Matrix to download my addons, its much easier for me since I run Windows Vista. Anyhow, are there any addons that make picking herbs/skinning be done faster? Also, what add on is good for displaying your Crits to you on screen? (not announcing it in all the chats). I am also looking for a raid on for announcing when I am rezzing someone.

1) You can't make gathering any faster than the game allows. Addons such as gatherer and carbonite nodes will help you find existing nodes though.



2) I use Miks Scrolling Battle text which I like quite a bit.



3) I would just use a macro for that



/cast Whateverrezyouhave

/raid I am rezzing %t



That will display to the raid whoever you're targetting. Furthermore if your raiders have their own addons such as xperl and grid they should be able to tell if somebody is getting a rez from somebody else.

For herbs you can get Gatherer, skinning....I have no clue.



As for displaying crits on your screen, get an addon called Parrot. It will CHANGE your World! (of Warcraft). There is to much to say about this addon to type out, as soon as you instal it you'll understand. However if you do get Parrot be sure to turn off your combat text. If you dont you'll see double the numbers (and not in a good way).



PS: I'm suprised WoWMatrix still works for you. Curse shut it down. Well, if you start having problems with it, there is always the Curse Client.

All of those addons are good for what they do, helping you to actually pick up materials that are on the ground such as hebs and ore. Skinning has no such possibility, since you must kill the animal before you can skin it.

I use GatherMate_Data and gatherer, those will show you herbs in the area. One of my favorites is routes, it will set a course for you based on herbs (or whatever other gathering profession you choose) you have found in that region. For instance you can go in and pick Howling Fjord, put in what gathering item you are looking for (herbs, mining, ect.) and it will set the best possible route for you to get to them, you can even mark some areas as out of bounds so you won't have to deal with mobs.

in addition to the other posters answer, Scrolling Combat Text is pretty good for the crits, and you can jsut make a macro for when you a ressing someone,something that goes like:



/ra Ressing %t

/cast Rebirth

/hug
