You can play Halo1 and 2 on the 360. how do i know? cause i have them and i play them on my 360. i suggest that you play from the first game on, because halo3 doesn't set the story up to that point. youll be playing not knowing what's happening, and missing the story. that's what drew me in, HALO has a fantastic story.

Yep, you can play Halo 1 and 2 on 360, you should probably play them in order it will definetly make more sense. I was still a little confused after finishing Halo 3 and I've played them all!

You may need to connect to XBOX live and download a patch to play them, but I actually think that XBOX360 already comes with the patch's for Halo games.

If you dont already have a hard copy of Halo 1 its available to buy over XBOX Live now, too.

You can pretty much pick up the story line from 3 if you listen carefully throughout although I would recommend buying 1 &2 first which are btw compatible with xbox 360

Those games are cheap so i would buy them to completely understand the story but yes you can play both games on the 360.

It does'nt matter what order you play them in but 1 and 2 should play.

All you need is a hard drive to play Xbox originals (I think) But yea it makes more sense to play all of them in sequence.
