i got a nintendo wifi usb connector for christmas, and i need help!!!!!!?

the wifi package says "use the nintendo wifi usb connector if you do not have access to a wireless network connection, or are unable to connect your wii console or nintendo ds system to the internet with your current connection." i want wifi for my wii and my ds, but i dont know if i need the usb connector to get wifi. do i need it or should i take it back? (i have high speed internet.)

Do you have wireless network set up at your house? (i.e. do you have wireless router so that computers can connect without wires?) If you have wireless network you don't need the USB connector.



The USB connector is ONLY when you don't have a wireless network and you need to connect the Wii to the Internet. You plug in the connector in to a computer that is connected to the Internet.This allows your Wii to connect to the Internet through that computer.

u need it to play wirelessy. if u have a usb cord, connect it to ur wii (cannot connect to ds) in the back and connect the other end to ur computer. if ur wii and ur computer arent close enough u need the wireless usb connector. BUT U NEED THAT FOR THE DS
