this is my third playthrough my last two i was a rogue assassin and a rogue archer i've been really sticking with the rogues lol so im all rogue out and i wish to try something new so which one of these is more fun to play as

Two Handed Warrior- it looks alot of fun being able to overpower an enemie slashing them all with almost one slash see it sounds fun in mind but im not too sure if it live up to the hype im thinking it might be :/

Healer Blood Mage- i do not wish to become an arcane warrior just to get that out of the way right now the mages look alot of fun and unlike the two handed warrior i have a mage all set up if i pick to do this one next healer every team needs a healer and blood magic just to have a little kick in my spells but it sounds a bit annoying if i can't use my Area spells since it also hurts my teammates :/

i'll be playing on hard not yet ready for nightmare lol

Blood Mage!!! Its awesome you can make an enemy your slave and boil a group of enemies blood and because you're using your own blood for the spells being a healer with it is perfect you do your blood magic spells turn blood magic off and then heal yourself. I've played on hard and if done right the area spells are not that big of a problem when it comes to hurting your team mates occasionally they do get caught up in it but I've found you tend to kill the enemies before any of your party get close to dieing and you can always tell your party to stay where they are until the area spell is done and then let them move freely.

Personally I hate playing two handed warrior (at least in dao in da2 they are waaaaaay better) they are extremely slow and its really annoying many times the enemy moves off before you can hit them. If you just want to get a taste of how it is to play one try playing as Sten or Oghren for a little bit and you'll see what I mean.

If you go for the Two-Handed Warrior, your specializations will make a big impact on how you play your character, although you could say the same for Rogues and Mages. Just a quick rundown of the specializations, because it could really make you sway one way or the other. Berserker: DPS all the way. Reaver: An odd way of doing more Damage. Champion: More of a team player. Templar: Anti-Mage. 'Nuff said. So the Two-Hander is basically DPS for a Warrior. It's a very versatile role though that can be played many ways (some even choose this for a solo-Nightmare run because of its versatility). It's quite easy to us too, so it won't take a lot of micro-managing to be effective. The Mage however, can handle a multitude of different roles. Since you are already set on being a Blood Mage/Spirit Healer, than you will probably find yourself being the Healer role 75% of the time and a semi-DPS the other 25% of the time. You will want to invest in Willpower still (even though Blood Magic uses HP) because you don't always want to be casting from your HP. It will be important to raise you Constitution though, so that Blood Magic isn't completely unusable. Anyway, enough of me ranting. I'm sure this information can help you choose what is "better".

Hi

I have played Dragon Age Origins with both Mage and warrior classes. Playing with mages will be a lot of fun and lots of different abilities but as you are interested in rouge class with both close combat assassin and long range archers, i suggest you to play as warrior cause you can handle him skillfully.

I also suggest that if you decide to become a two handed warrior, try to fight alongside Alistair instead of Sten and do not forget to keep your save files because playing Dragon Age 2 with them will be more fun.

Good Luck
