Having trouble Modding Sims 3?

Question

I have followed these exact steps:

multiple times and it still doesn't work? What am I doing wrong? I have my EA folder in my docs. I downloaded the Mods file from there. Its in the Sims 3 folder. I checked the packages folder and it has both things. What am I missing?

well what are you having trouble with? have you put any mods in yourself yet? the "no start up" mod doesn't include the Maxis and Sims 3 plumbob intro, it just means the little movie clip that plays just before the main menue. does your mods folder look like this?

I am not sure exactly, but just follow these steps:



Click on mod in downloads>Drag it to the Documents section>Drag it to Electronic Arts>Sims 3>Make a new folder>Plop it in there.

It works for me, you should try it. Hope it helps.

Did you delete your cache files? Maybe try downloading a new resource.cfg? http://skuld.modthesims.info/Resource.cfg
