I would like to know a little bit more about that charcter copy page.
If I copy to I get to keep both Characters
What Will happen to my guild and name
Will my Gear or money change

If I have a guy on stormreaver, and I character copy him to a Archimonde, do I get to keep the charatcer that was on stormreaver , or does he get deleted and he is only on archimonde?

Character copy is for PTR's

But i assume you are talking transferring servers? Is so when you transfer a server, you character you have and all of its items / bank items ( NOT mail) get transferred too. If you own a guild it would be disbanded, you freinds / ignore list is wiped too.

The character copy page is for the Public Test Realm. It enables you to make a copy of your own character on the special realms that they use to test new content, so you can try out your character with the new features they're testing.



It does not, in any way, affect your character. Changes you make to your character after the transfer will not affect the ptr copy, and changes you make to the ptr copy will not affect your character in the real game.



You don't have a guild on the test realm, but you should have all your money, and bags, and everything on your character exactly as it was when you copied it.



If you're not talking about character copy for the PTR, you're talking about realm transfer. That's when you pay to MOVE your character from one server to another. You get to keep all your money and items, but you will lose any guild affiliation and friends list because these things are server-specific. Your character will appear on the new server, and will not be present on the old server.

Are you talking about the PTR? If so, when you transfer your original character stays on your normal server and a duplicate of him (minus the guild tag since you'd need to be reinvited to your guild on the PTR) in levels, looks, and gear appears on the test realm.



If you mean a server transfer, your whole character and everything on him are physically moved to the new server. You lose your guild tag and nothing remains on the old server.
