I am 15 and i am wondering if i can become a video game tester i have been playing games since i was 4 and have been in many free betas and reported bugs in those betas i also live in California

You need an AA degree as a tester, a lot of networks to help you get the job (they get so many applicants it's disgusting), and you need to be able to have an in with the company you are choosing. It also helps if you look into the company's website and see if they are looking for testers.

thats what my carrer is starting out as, most game testers need atleast an associates degree thats what it says i need to SGD simulation game developement you start off as a game tester go to a game designer then a game programmer but i think you need a degree to be a tester

You can find a few ways to get paid to play video games. Game companies will give you their new video games, gaming consoles and etc. for you to test. Then you give them your opinion and then they send you payment. The hardest part is gathering a list of the companies that will pay you.
