Blizzard never sends an e-mail saying your account WILL be suspended if you don't (blah blah)...

They suspend the account, you check your e-mail and find one from Blizz telling you what to do. That's how it works.

Plus, it doesn't look like a standard Blizzard e-mail to me.

Also I was thinking, even if you were selling your account would Blizzard ask you to confirm you are the owner by just typing the info on some website and then dropping the investigation? What's the point? How does that prevent you from selling the account?

If you are the original owner, you know the info. If you are the buyer. the original owner gave you that info. They just want to know your name AND the secret question so they can change your e-mail, pass etc and you wont be able to login.

I say just ignore the mail. I get like 3-4 per day and I dont even open them.

I say the email is suspicious but the best way to confirm this is to log into Blizzard's website and go to Battlenet. If there is a problem it will be addressed there, it sounds like someone is trying to get your account information. If you don't already have one definitely get an authenticator as it is the best way of not getting your account hacked. Its not full proof but then again its better than nothing. Hope this helps.

Blizzard would never ask for your secret word, they would already have it in their database. Its not real. Report it and delete.

The link is broken so I would assume this isn't legitimate. Don't respond.

looks fake, but if you want to be sure, go to the website given, and just put fake passwords and see what it tells you (if it accepts its obviously fake)
