Help! My 2 Sims can't get married!(sims 3 for xbox 360)?

I made a female sim, and got into a relationship with Tucker Conner. We went steady, and I had a daughter with him. But, even though we are boyfriend and girlfriend and I use he romantic actions on him, I cannot propose. I've been divorced, and I have the max amount of people. Is that why? Please help!!

It might be because you've been divorced but im not too sure. you should still be able to get married even if your household has the max amount of people in it but it just means that he/she wont be able to move in with you until someone in your household moves,gets kicked or left behind when moving or gets killed by accident or peroposly. What to do use a lot of romantic traits on your romantic interest until propose going steady appears. Then take your girl/boyfriend out on a few dates (by using the phone by click call sim,invite out and picking the sim you want to invite out) and still use a lot of romantic traits on him/her while your on your date and after 1-3 dates or maybe more the option propose marriage should appear.



When your engaged you can choose to either have a private wedding(you can have this anywhere you want but it will only be between you and your fiancee) or a public wedding (you can do this by clicking throw party,wedding party,pick what you want them to wear,time and people invited).



When you have a private wedding(go to romantic traits when clicked on your fiancee and from there you scroll down the romantic traits until you see have private wedding and click on that), after you and your fiancee is married a menu should appear about moving into his/her house (it might still appear for you if her house isn't maxed out) and then you pick who's house you want to move into.



When you have a public wedding (same as i said above but this time it will have have wedding or something like that) everyone will be cheering,wedding stuff,wedding stuff but the move menu wont appear. to have her/him move into your house(i don't know how to move into his/hers and in your case you wont be able to do this until someone in your household goes) what you do is invite him/her over to your house and keep using friendly traits on him/her until the ask to move in option appears. then she will be moved into your household.

It might be why. But if you are going steady then try using every romantic option there is and it might show up. It should definitely show up. But if it did it was show as private wedding. To have a public wedding then you should use your phone and select throw party. And instead of using house party use wedding party and then invite him as a part of the wedding. And that the public marry option.

If you have a max amount of people you can still get married but not move in if you have like 5 people thats not max. But if you chat you can get the move in option
