Wolfenstein Enemy Territory:(Failed to resolve guidauth.evenbalance.com)?

Hey there Yahooers! Im a player from et returning to the game after a year. Now every time I download and install Wolf, I get to connect to a server and play for several minutes. Then I have a lag and disconnect. When i try to reconnect it says "awaiting challenge xx." When I pull the down the command line (chat box) it says "Failed to resolve guidauth.evenbalance.com."
I have followed the internet instructions to fix this error, but I cant find the pbns.dat file at all, in the pb directory there are no punkbuster dat files. When I go see the host file I have the needed host 192.xxx.xxx.xxx something like that withevenblance.com at the end.
Is this an error cause of the missing dat file?
Plz help me resolve this.

Download all punkbuster files from scratch. If that doesn't work reinstall it make sure you delete the folder when you uninstall it

Try this



Open the pb folder in your wolfenstein area and delete the file pbns.dat.



Open pbweb.exe to update your pb and it should give you a good copy of pbns.dat, you have to open pbweb.exe a few times for it to fully update I have found.



If this doesn't work then make sure you replace the file you deleted.
