How do you get the special spec ops mode on call of duty modern warfare 2?

I beat the campaign on this game and it opened up a new way to play the spec ops like an arcade where you get time bonuses and such. My friend beat the same game on his xbox360 and nothing happened to the spec ops. What happened?

I don't see how that's even possible seeing how I beat the game on veteran and nonething happen to spec ops. However if you get a certain number of stars on the first few spec ops missions then you can play other special ops missions that also have time trails and stages with bonuses and etc. To make it short, there is no special spec ops mode. Also thats kinda retarded to have something named twice like spec(special) spec ops.

Thats all spec-ops is, Some missions are time trials.

Others are survival, There are no different versions of spec-ops, There all the same.



So it is imposable you got something totally different.



When you beat the game you unlock it, There nothing more to it.
