E3 Lovers and hardcore gamers outthere:

I can imagine the possibilities: Playstantion's move controller turning into a glove (or kinetic's ... "nothing", your body, turning into... well, nothing more). 10 periferials with virtual control over a holographic HUD, like the holographic keyboards and displays we see in so many movies nowadays.

What do you think? is "PS Move" the future of gaming?
Or is Microsoft shooting high extending its technology to other ways to control the games (with the far-possibility of some kind of hologram boot as a game controller). It sounds sci fi to me, but a friend told me, holographic displays are the next step on gaming interphases.

Im an Xbox360 owner and I love it, because of the game library, and the hardcore gaming experience overall. However, I think that Microsoft's Kinetic sucked really bad. Its like mime training or something. They are taking the wrong direction, trying to get a bite out of a market widely owned by the wii for the last 4 years or so, AND to make it worse, there is no controller. Did I not watch the right videos? I only watched people gimmicking like drunk monkeys all over the boots. Downright riddiculous if you ask me.

What potential do you see on this new gadgets?

You can tell your friend that holographic displays are WAY in the future. We are nowhere near the types of holograms we see in movies and many of the things out there claiming to be holograms are just using tricks.

Now, stereoscopic 3D displays may or may not be the next big thing (such as the 3DS) but that's far from holographic technology. And even that still has some kinks to be worked out.

I'd bet that games use holographic data storage long before they actually use holograms to display the graphics.

nicely Kinect is technologically some distance better than playstation flow, yet i think of playstation flow will do extra effective than KInect. Kinect does have an charm for family video games, yet cant see how a hardcore gamer might have fun with it.I dont think of the hardcore game enthusiasts are keen to play video games likes kinectimals & excitement journey making stupid gestures. MIcrosoft has itself pronounced that the Kinect is for informal game enthusiasts. whilst as playstation flow may be incredibly utilized in hardcore video games. although its no longer a great ingenious thought like Kinect yet atleast it incredibly is utilized in genuine hardcore video games. It already has video games like KIllzone 3, SOCOM 4, steel kit sturdy becoming, LIttle massive PLanet 2 and so forth.

im a fan of the technology for box's genetic however i think sony came out on top with this because its one simply reason. YOUR HOLDING SOMETHING. gaming always needs a controller and always will have, we have been playing games for many years using our fingers and not our hands that's why the PS3 and Xbox are famous with gaming but i think xbox will lose sales if they try to improve on this, its not going to do well but the playstation move should last a long time and take off well because your holding a controller and its apparently the most precise with the in game actions. but lets see when they come out and how well they do, with this its not about how many sales the item makes, its about the reviews by the amount of buyers and the fact that its a stable piece of hardware.

Personally I am tired of the motion control fad going on atm. The playstation move is essentially a copy of the wiimote (though there is better technology behind it) While Kinect seems pretty bad though at least they are attempting to take motion control in a different direction.

move is better than kinect cuz some games need controllers ex. shooters, racing or any game with weapons but kinect is definitely gonna be amazing for fighting games like ufc or mk
