My response is typically about what fits your playstyle better. However, the class balance does seem a little wonky currently. I don't think there's any debate that warriors and hunters are very strong right now. This is something you need to consider with class decisions. I can tell you that playing casters that don't have healing against a hunter really sucks. If your class is easily kited, playing against a hunter will suck. Warriors have lots of burst, sustained damage, fear immunity, and cc right now.
Based on what I've seen, I'd have to go with a druid for now. Rogues are still decent here and there, but they're a bit lacking in mobility. They used to have lots of cc available (and still do), but now they are forced to choose between abilities that are in the same tier of talents. These things are what I see rogue complaining most about right now.
As for druids, you can take 3 different roles which is nice. If one spec gets boring or seems week at the time, you can just play something else. I've heard really good things about resto druids so far. I've heard from some feral druids that they feel weaker than before, but they can still put out some nice burst. I saw a feral take me down as fast as some warriors when he popped all his cooldowns. I don't think I've seen a rogue even come close. One other thing with druids is that they have some healing and are pretty good at kiting and getting away. With the roots/snares/shapeshifting they have, they stand a chance to get away from warriors or LoS and heal when fighting hunters. Rogue are kind of just stuck. Hunters also have several anti-stealth abilities which hurts rogues a bit.
So to conclude, I'd go with druids. Looking at the strongest classes right now, I think druids stand a better chance. Druids have more options than rogues do as far as specs and playstyles. Rogues are still alright, but they've seen better days. If you don't mind focusing on clothies and being there mainly for control while others kill your target, then a rogue isn't a bad choice.
Right now I'm playing a lock. It's fun as long as melee stay away from me, especially warriors. I pretty much just eat the dirt when fighting one.
