Question:
New to school, hard to devote hours each day?

Hello I am new to school, however was in a elementary school to completion and 1 year of middle school and was home schooled for years till last year. I am 17 now and taking G.E.D classes online, I find it hard to devote hours each day to just sit down and mouse click. Of course I have not had much experience with normal scheduled a high school student would be having (i.e. Waking up each day, going to school, leaving school) I on the other hand * because my home is my school.* have had hardly any strict scheduled, right now my online classes require me to be on every day for four hours or more. I am somewhat a computer nerd, I have no TV, the internet is my TV, and also my entertainment console. So I am on my gaming laptop EVERYDAY ALMOST 24/7!
Anyone relate? Got any tools or something that can train me to be have a disciplined schedule?

I am homeschooled and had the same problem. I was pretty much on my computer for 24/7. I then realized that I would fail if I didn't get my stuff done. That pretty muched snapped me into shape. It's a mental thing you have to triumph over the machine. No tools (besides maybe a planner) will help you really get rid of the problem.

1. Why are you asking about schools in Video games?

2. Learn discipline. You will never make anything of yourself if you can't concentrate.
