I had a holy priest but i went back to shadow because i wanted t kill stuff :D i was a pretty good healer. But for some reason i think druids pallys and shamans make the best healers. I really like pally healers. I'm looking to make a new healer/ I already have a lvl 32 tank pally so i don't really wanna make another pally... but i could always respec. and then i got a lol lvl druuid (14) i made him restoration. and well i was thinking if i do not like tanking with my pally i vould switch and make my druid the tank... I'mn all ears for all comments. Did the new ptaches make the cooldown for druid resurection much faster?

Hello Joey!

I have a lvl 70 Holy Padin, with only blue gear, even though im working on my pvp gear all i can say is that Paladins are amazing healers. My gear isn't that great and i heal more than an epic priest! no offense i have a priest too, i also like healing, and my paladin is usually one of the top healers on pvp. But i've noticed that shaman's do massive healing, but that's because it's a group heal and their totems. Without the totems they heal but not that great. Druids are the second top on pvp heal wise, but then again im still counting them with epic gear.

So if you want to be a shaman, make sure your totem is always up. Otherwise you could be a druid. This is the stats i always get when im pvping:

Paladin (epic gear♥)

Shaman ♥

Druid ♥

Paladin (normal gear, and yes i inspect every pally i see :P ♥

Priest ♥

So my advice is have fun, and pick a class you haven't had, but Paladins are up there, their the top healers atm :) plus their loooved on raids!!!

Have fun!

I will skip shaman because i know too little about them... but

Priest spec'ed to heal (not shadow) is the best at healing hands down all other things being equal. This is what they were built to do and are good at it ONCE GEARED for it. This is especially true in a large group where the group heal spell ability comes into play. But... you have to be well geared to be really good.

Paladin heal hits the hardest and is useful especially to hold up a main tank but they have no group heal and so fall behind the need as to healing groups at times when the damage is REALLY pouring on strong. Their heal has a 2.5 sec cast time.

Druid healing (when spec'ed for it) is VERY effective but not as effective as a priest. Still, its sufficient in most groups/raids and can be relied upon for most all healing needs. When it comes to the use of the healing touch spell a Pally can out heal them... however a Druid does have group heal even tho it has a cool down ... AND... a druid can become a rogue or a tank by shifting forms thereby filling in the gaps of immediate and changing group needs.

If you want a pure breed healer spec'ed for it, AND well geared for it... the best in the business is the priest ... but only ONCE GEARED.

I have seen Shaman work, impressive. But the Priests that were spec'ed and geared out healed them on the "damage" meter. I guess that sorta says it with regard to the Shaman.

Restoration spec'd druids are awesome healers, and yes the newest patch made the cooldown on ressurection from 30 minutes to 20... The other classes that can res do not have a cooldown on their res. Only way to make a druid a "tank" (they will never be as good as a warrior) is to go feral spec.

Wow, I dont understand all the smart-alec answers.

I think pure healer priests are the best, but Im not sure. Ive been told by a level 70 druid that she can heal as well as any Priest spec.
