Guild Wars 2 Australia and New Zealand?

Question

At the end of the 3rd BWE there were no worlds/servers released for Aussie and NZ? I have not yet pre-purchased the game but plan to in the following few days.
So the question is what region's servers will player from NZ and Aussie have to play on?

ArenaNet have 2 big server parks: one in the EU, and one in the US. People who have a European access key and are in Europe, will always automatically log in to the EU server park (they currently cannot log in to the game from outside Europe). People who have a non-European access key and are outside of Europe, will always automatically log in to the US server park (they currently cannot log in to the game from Europe). So people in Oceania will use the US server park.



However, that doesn't restrict you in any way from choosing the world that you want to play on. Even if you're logged in on the US server park, you can still play on ANY world you want, even an EU world. The additional lag this causes is minimal.

You can play on any server you like. Your home server is a set choice that will take gems to change, but you can change it. You will also be able to guest on various servers and play with others until you find a server you really like (and then you can move your account to that server via gems).
