I have all the expansions but I'm getting a new laptop but it doesn't have a DVD/CD player and I don't have an external one, is there anyway to get WoW and the expansions onto my new laptop without paying more money? And if not how do I get Wow and the expansions onto my new laptop since it doesn't have a DVD/CD player? Sorry if this sounds screwed up I'm really tired..

if you have an account go to the main site and log in and go to the account section and click on the link for your account and then download the full client installer.once it's installed and patched log in to you game as per usual and the log out and start WOW back up it will then install the missing Xpacs up to the expansion you currently have.only word of warning is this will A)take a few hours to a day(depending on your net speed)and B) eat a large portion of your data limit if your like me and have capped internet(BTW if you have AT&T you do DSL limit is 150gb and Uverse is 250 gb)

You can redownload the game from the blizzard site, however that does take pretty much forever. I ran into a similar problem loading wow onto a laptop for an unexpected trip and didn't want to wait, and for fun I just shared the original install directory and copied it to the laptop via Windows file sharing and it worked.

Delete the "wtf" folder. The first time you launch the game from the new location it will fix itself, rebuilding the missing files. That should save you multiple hours, at least.

Here's a quick tutorial on how to share files in Windows 7 if you aren't familiar with it:

Gonna have to buy/borrow/"borrow" a external DVD Drive. It would take FAR too long to fun it on an external Hard Drive and then transfer it over.

If you have an active battle.net account just connect to the internet on your new laptop, log in and download the client. You don't need the disks to install it.

1. method: copy all files from your old laptop WoW catalog to new one (by home network, flash drive or portable hard drive);

2. method: install game by Battlenet account;
