When are horses released in Minecraft?

I heard that it is 1.6 when they are released , does anyone have a release date?

1.6 is rumored to be released very soon, maybe a month at the most. But you can go onto the Mojang website and download a thing called a snapshot. These are just things that Mojang release for people to have a look into what might be implemented in the next official update.

This snapshot has now implemented sounds to horses and even sounds to villagers!

For minecrsft. They release something called snapshots. So you can go to the mojAng website. Download it. Replace your jar. And it will have the newest unofficial update. They already have the horses one. Look it up on youtube
