Why doesn't my games work?

my games aren't working since i formatted my computer. i just formatted drive C. my games were in D and E. my friend who formatted comp says that the grafics card should be installed by a cd. but i'm not sure.
the games and problems are:-
gta vice city- cannot find enough available video memory
nfs most wanted- D3DX9_26.DLL wasn't found
cricket 07- microsoft error report
igi 2- nothing happens
pleese help!

Some games install things into the registry. When you reinstalled your operating system you deleted all those things. You may have to reinstall.

on nfs where it says a certain .dll isnt found thats def a re-install..however also looking at it its for direct x9...when u go to re-install the game there should be an option as well for the directx...as far as the video card..you may need to install drivers for it..which of course were on the cd provided by the manufacturers of the card or on their web site if you don't have the cd
