Convincing my mom to let me get Grand Theft Auto IV?

I'm a 14 year old boy from Norway and i play alot of games including; Red dead redemption, Gears of war 2, Just Cause 2, and so on. My platform is Xbox 360. My mother likes video games, specially the game's story line and plot. Mom likes the Assassin's Creed II game and Red dead redemption because of the very mature story. She allows me to play a lot of M rated games (Pegi 18+ in europe) exept for Grand Theft Auto. So if Just cause 2 had the same dev but different tilte, i would not then be allowed to play it. It all started when i was 8 years old, my uncle bought Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City. I played both the games just for fun, i did not kill or hurt anyone outside cars i jacked. One month later my mom saw a documentary about Grand Theft Auto series, and guess who was there, Jack "Mathafakka" Thompson. He said that you get points for killing hookers, sniffing cocaine and other overreacted stuff. After that i didn't play Grand Theft Auto at all. I did listen to my mother and did what she told me and tells me to do. As longest the "Grand Theft Auto" is slapped on a cd box... NOT ALLOWED! In 2010 two years after Grand Theft Auto IV's Release, i watched the intro of the game on Youtube and the launch trailer, I WAS SO CURIOUS ABOUT THE STORY!!!! i think that Rockstar games took a big step! Story about a russian immigrant trying to live the american dream, but gets misleaded. I want my mom to know the story of Grand Theft Auto IV The difference from Grand Theft Auto 1 - Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto IV is that it's realistic, it does not have awful lot of blood, it has consequences, an awesome story line and single player, ******* awesome physic engine (Euphoria) and a mature hollywood movie like storyline.


So. How do i convince my mom that Grand Theft Auto IV is different than the other Grand Theft Auto games. My mom likes video games and has an intrest for them sometimes. But whenever i mention "Grand Theft Auto" She says "no" and if i say "why?", she says "its an manslaughter simulator where you kill hookers as your objective!"

hei, æ e fra norge æ åsså :D trønderlag da ;) d første æ tænkt på va att du spillt just cause 2, red dead redemption som e vældi my dræping i å att mora di likt spillan p.g.a historien! jadda , ac2 har en UTROLI historie men d e jævli my dræping dær å :P samtidi på alle dæmm spillan som du nævnt opp kan du dræp kæmm som helst, som e berægna for d. så om d e non extra figura (hookers..) som e laga på gta iv som man åsså kan dræp har jo ikke d nåkka å si. drugs, strippeklub, å at mora di vil "beskytt" dæ mot d hær, e jo ikke så rart.. men d e bare å si att d e fullt muli å ungå d innpå spille som i virkelihet'n. vis hu trailern me gta , men før d kann du jo fortæll litt om att russland å u.s.a allti har vært fienda.. d jør historien kansje litt mere intressan?
