The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Questions...?

Question

Will you be able to own a house .
Will you be able to have pets ( I seen a pic of an Elf with his dog )
Will you be able to have a relationship/wife...
Can you build stuff ( Weapons , etc )
Can you Buy stuff from people and , or trade .
What other similar stuff can you do in Skyrim ....

I know it comes out 11/11/11 , but give as much info as possible

1.yes from what i hear you will be able to build your own house.

2. im not sure about pets but there isa good chance here will be since most rpgs have this feature

3. oh you can marry in the game. you can also do gay marriages lol!!

4. yea i saw that u can smith ur own weapons at the quakecon presentation. i was there when todd howard, the games's director, even showed a blacksmith there and a place where u can smelt things.

5. by people if u mean npcs than of course u can. if a game does not have that, the game cannot be a rpg, it is a general rule.

6. well now you dont have to choose a class in the beginning. u can make ur character and progress in the areas u think are best for ur character. u can ride horses and maybe dragons, u can dual wield things like shields, swords, and magics.there are also some magics that do special effects on enemies and help you in certain ways like one guides you to ur destination, one u can spot enemies and control them to kill other enemies, one i think forms a circle around the place where u activated the spell and enemies around the circle get scared and run away, one trap spell forms a small circle wherever u cast it and it explodes on enemy touch. i think u can also teleport to destinations that you have already visited, because it was on oblivion so it may also be on skyrim, they also have shouts which are high level magical attacks. in the end of the utube link i guess, todd does something called storm call which makes the whole area start to rain and then lightning starts to hit all enemies nearby to ur location. and u know like some games like uncharted have epic backgrounds like high level mountains, in skyrim, those backgrounds are actually explorable.



u can also make a more powerful version of a spell if u have the same spell on each hand selected and you can press the left hand and right hand button( one controls left hand, one controls right :p) at the same time to make a even more powerful version of a spell. here are other shouts i know of:

- u can slow down time

-u can travel a certain amount of distance at the speed of sound

- u can breath fire which sometimes attract dragons to attack and murder the guy u killed

- u can do like a force push to push crowds of enemies away from you



oh yea did i mention u can catch animals or grow food and then cook them. basically u can cook.

You can buy multiple houses, just as in Oblivion.

There are rumors about pets, but Bethesda has said nothing concrete about this at the moment. The only thing I know for certain is that you can call a dragon to your aid, but won't get the ability for some time.

You can get married, but no word on how many wives/husbands, or anything about kids.

You can craft potions, but not armor or weapons. You can, however, augment weapons with attributes like fire or ice, things like that. You can also cook food into healing items.

You can buy and trade from shops and vendors, but not from real players (this has been asked before, which is why I answered this way).

Basically, everything you could do in Oblivion is made better in Skyrim. You can ride a horse, attack with various weapons and magic (including dual wielding swords, sword and shield, sword and magic, shield and magic, or dual wield magic). 2 Handed weapons are out, as the new controls use left trigger for the left hand and right trigger for the right hand, you would have to pull both together to do a simple swing. If you dual wield magic, you can combine it into a bigger spell, like taking a fireball in each hand and creating a fire sphere. There is no official word on combining different powers (like ice and air to shoot icicles or something).

There are way too many things to mention everything here, but I suggest getting the game. It will be EPIC.

If you want more info, you'd be better off looking at the sites in my source list and doing a search for Skyrim. It is the best way to get legitimate information.

-Yes, houses will be available in Skyrim.

-Pets, I think you'll be able to, not sure on what extent, I've also seen the Dark Elf with a dog.

-Relationships+ Marriage confirmed, any gender, also your partner can cook you meals, go buy something for you that you want, and I think they can become a companion to fight with, not to sure.

-Blacksmithing is also a skill, creating weapons and armour, you can also create potions, and meals, and also enchant your own weapons, you can probably create more things also, I've also heard you can add fur, skulls, and so on to armour and also add different fir and so on handles to swords etc...

-Trading is confirmed, as it has also been in past elder scrolls games also.

-Many things are available to do in Skyrim, you can also have companions in the game, who can follow you around and fight with you, also if your inventory is too full your companion can carry equipment for you. Skyrim has many things to do in the game, dual wielding and so on, which you probably already know of.
