have you noticed that halo guns and equipment is already here?

now lets see halo; camouflage , Laser gun , warthog ,power drain that disables cars , bubble shields , thats all i can think of but still why does everyone say that halo is so fake when we have all of this and even more things that aren't released to us or that we have not heard of.
oh yeah halo reach ; jet packs,health , running, hahaha jk but really why?

You're exaggerating slightly, although I have noticed COD fan-boys taunting Halo for being "unrealistic" is lunging with a knife and surviving multiple point-blanc gunshot wounds realistic? That's why Halo's so great because it doesn't try to be realistic and its set in the future so it can't be outdated unlike COD.



We are trying to develop laser technology but not for combat use, the Spartan Laser is still at a sort of post-experimental stage in Halo: Reach anyway. Active Camouflage is just bending light around you.



Where is their bubble shields?

Where is their a piece of medical equipment which heals all wounds instantly?

Do you regenerate a little health after being shot?

Many of the weapons, armor, and equipment in halo is based on what we have now. It kind of follows that much of it would be possible with our current technology or what tech we may soon develop.



There was an article recently (on Yahoo!) that went through several concepts of halo and ranked them based on how realistic scientists believed they were. The plasma guided weapons were high up on the list, partly because we have figured out partly how to guide plasma and fire it.



As to the actual question, people see halo as some giant sci-fi game. You are fighting aliens using weapons that fire little blue balls. Think about it from a normal person's standpoint: if you didn't already know about some of these technologies, you too would think that halo is fake.

Although, of course, they're wrong.
