How to make Source engine mods like "no more room in hell"?

I really really want to make a source engine mod that only requires source sdk 2007 like "no more room
in hell"

Go into your steam library and change the filter from "all games" to "tools". Scroll down to source sdk and install it. Also install source sdk base 2006 + 2007 (You won't ever need to open these, but you still need to have them). You need a game to mod, no more room was made with half life 2, so i assume you have that. Click on it source sdk in tools and you'll get all your tools to make it. Depending on exactly how you want your mod, you can either use the hammer editor (more for making maps and simple changes) or you can use the source code itself for more detailed mods. If this is the case after you click on source sdk, change the engine version to source sdk 2007 and click create mod, using source code only. Valve has release a ton of info on the source code and many detailed tutorials to tell you all there is to know about modding. There are also many problems you will run into, so be sure to check out the forums frequently. Just want to point out, in case you were planning on making this yourself, that most mods (no more room in particular) are made with with teams of several advanced modders, though it is possible to do it by yourself.
