No Cheats Work For Golden Sun Lost Age?

I am playing Golden Sun The Lost Age on my Visual Boy Advance and whenever I try to put any of the Gameshark or Action Replay codes in I get a message saying that it won't work because it's the wrong game... Can someone point me in the direction of some working cheats or inform me as to why the ones I'm using may not be working?

If not, try them, If you do, then try entering them as generic Codes, not Gameshark Codes.
