I wanted to get this game currency and i found on youtube that there is a link which, if you fill in some sort of survey, will get you this currency. (This website is http://sc-games.ga) I filled in the survey and they texted me a pin code inorder to verify my phone number. I verified my phone number with that code and I got back some message advertisement about visa or something. Also i never got the currency. My problem is that I am worried and don t know if there are any sort of consequenses (because a provided my phone number). What should I do?

Most likely you have already received the consequence. In this case, it is solicitation. Meaning you are getting extra ads directed at you. Don’t be surprised if you start getting a lot of phone calls from solicitors or people trying to sell you stuff. So block those numbers once they call you. Odds are they will sell your number to A lot of places for advertising purposes. To avoid problems like this in the future, remember that nothing is free. There is always something “they” are getting in return. If it’s not money, it can be your time, advertisements, etc. So any of those surveys or anything that wants your personal information, are all scams.

Be sure to keep an eye on your cellphone bill. Some places will places charges on your bill that you have "authorized"
