Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 Wont Work?

Question

I Installed Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 on my windows vista laptop and it works great. But when I install corkscrew follies and loopy landscapes (the expansion packs) it doesnt work and doesnt let me play....

Any sugestions on what it might be.
The original without the expansions works perfectly fine...

it might be due to a compatibility issue. usually people with vista home or vista basic (whatever the cheapest version is) have compatibility issues with programs that were designed for operation on windows xp or older operating systems.



Expensive but permanent Solution:

Buy vista pro, or the recently released 7 pro



Easiest/Cheapest solution:

find the mod on your hard disk and right click. select properties. under compatibility tab select appropriate setting. try playing again.

yea as he says up there compatibility , rollercoaster tycoon 1 is such an old game



get rollercoaster tycoon 3, that plays with vista, even that game is only like a fiver now and 100 times better.

Definitely! Each game has a similar point to it, only tycoon 2 has better graphics and a little more to do!
