The epilogue shows Gabriel is immortal..first off (i dunno how i missed it but) why? why is he immortal now?

question 2 how come that Patrick Stewart guy (the person he does the voice for in the game) AKA Death, how come he is walking around still?... I swear I killed him. is it just cos he is Death?

question 3 i was looking through the art work and noticed that they call the "epilogue Gabriel"... Dracula!, this is very cool and i have many of my own theroys as to why, but i just want to know other peoples opinions on the matter.

Ok, you need to play Castlevania Lament of inocence and then you will understand this game. First Gabriel is not a "true" Belmont because he is not son of Leon Belmont (the real first Belmont) and second because he adopted that name (read the character Bio in the game) BUT It is suppose that he is a bastard son of someone of the Cronqvist family (the same family that Mathias Cronqvist) I think that the real father of Gabriel is Mathias Cronqvist. Gabriel is son of Dracula and eventually he becomes Dracula.

Well I suppose the god mask that was left behind by death, one would suppose that was what made him immortal, after all he wanted to bring back Marie, maybe he though that mask would do it...



Satan set fire to death but we weren't sure if he was dead or not...looks like he survived.



also notice how death called Gabriel " the prince of darkness". That means he has a father. If so the statement below must hold true that Gabriel was not a true Belmont but the son of Dracula. maybe Alcuard! thus maybe in the next one Gabriel will seek out to find Dracula and destroy him.but after all we know death is on Dracula side so maybe Gabriel will become the first Dracula then have a son...

I personally think the ending is TERRIBLE. How the hell is a belmont going to BECOME dracula? I was pissed that they didnt have dracula in the game in the first place, nor was it centered around the horrors and monsters inside of the epic HUGE castle that is Castlevania. The castle aspect of the game was much shorter than it should of been and had me pretty dissapointed.



Apparently, gabriel has become dracula and i think zobek IS death. Maybe he escaped from hell or something. anyway, its dumb as crap. If they have a modern day castlevania as the next one, i am just going to consider the entire series Dead. End of story. UNLESS the entire next game takes place inside of the castle. then it MAY be salvageable. especially if the monsterous castle rises from out of no where. that would be sweet. especially if they brought alucard back.

Q1: Gabriel used the mask that Zobek was wearing as the Lord of the Necromancer. Which in turn probably works in reverse to the mask that Gabriel originally assembled, thus granting him dark power of Satan. Q2: Patrick Stewart narrated as Zobek overseeing Gabriel progress from behind the scenes to see if he was completing his task given to him. Remember that Zobek was the original mastermind behind the entire plot of the game. Only right that he narrates. Q3: I'm guessing that Gabriel put the mask on out curiosity and became stuck. He saw through the "Eyes of God", so maybe he wanted see what the view was like from the other end. Him being Dracula was most likely the side effect of wearing the mask. Making him Dracula and immortal . But the real question that staggers me........, When did Zobek come back to life? I thought that Satan had gotten rid of him. You know, when he burned him alive and left that mask behind.
