What are the best heirlooms for each class in world of warcraft? e.g. Warrior, hunter, priest, mage, druid, dk, shaman, warlock and rogue. I have got a level 82 paladin already, so don't worry about them. But please focus on mage and rogue, they seem the best two for my alt.
Thanks in advance,
Paddy

So,

Warrior: Depends on the spec you want to level up, if DPS focus on plate that gives Strength, Stamina, Hit Rating, Crit. If TANK focus on plate with Stamina, Strength, Dodge Rating, Parry rating, extra armor.

Hunter: Mainly Agility/Stamina items with Crit and haste/Hit

Priest: Choose Cloth that has Intellect, Spirit - if healer, Spell Power AND Hit Rating too if you are not going to heal!

Mage: Pick Cloth items with main stats Intellect and Stamina, also make sure they give Spell Power and/or Hit Rating for sure!

Druid: Depends on the spec again, as a Feral DPS pick up Agility/Stamina with Crit and Hit rating bonus. IF HEALER pick up Intellect/Stamina, Spirit, with Haste and/or Crit - As a Balance, pick Intellect/Stamina with Spell Power AND Hit Rating, avoid Haste/Spirit!

DK: Plate again with Strength/Stamina, Hit Rating, and crit too. If you are going to TANK, pick up the dodge rating/parry ones - always with Stamina and Strength.

Shaman: Hit mail with Intellect and Spell Power mainly, and Spirit if you are going to heal. For Melee Shaman choose agility weapons and armor - always with stamina.

Warlock: Get full Intellect/Stamina cloth with Spell Power and Hit Rating. Also Spirit helps a little.

Finally, Rogues need the leather items with Agility/Stamina and Critical with Hit Rating.

Make sure to get the Guild Heirlooms too! They are a big help! ( if you are Honored with your guild )

Also: Stamina is a main Stat and can be found on every Heirloom you are going to buy!

Hope I helped you!

Happy Gaming!!!

The best Heirlooms would be the same as with any other gear - Your most important stats would be AGI for Hunters, Rogues, Feral Kitties etc, INT for Casters and Healers, STR for melee dps.

The real importance of Heirlooms lies in two different aspects:

1) They scale up at each level, so you don't need to keep upgrading your gear

2) They give extra XP and Rep, thus helping level and get faction rep faster.

Heirlooms are roughly equivalent to blues (rare equipment), better than greens but inferior to purples (epic), so they are strictly for the purposes of levelling quickly - hence secondary stats should not be a major consideration. Select from what is available just as you would choose any other gear - but do check just how much extra XP/Rep each bit of kit has, as some give 10% and others only 5%, whilst most weapons give none.

There are however, PvE or PvP Heirlooms; the latter giving Resilience which is crucial to PvP but wasted stats in PvE.

As well as purchasing Heirlooms from Stormwind and Dalaran (for Alliance of course) you can buy Heirloom cloaks via your guild if it has reached the sufficient level.

As far as your Rogue goes (or "Rouge" as I believe they are called in WoW!) get the Heirlooms with AGI, regardless of spec and for Mage you want INT Heirlooms.
