i just beat the game recently, i found the corvette to max out at 255mph, the mclaren seems to take to much time to hit max speed..i don't recall what the top speed was, try the corvette..

the lamborgini when complete, has the highest speed, as well as the best handling and acceleration. be careful with it though, taking turn to fast will cause it to go off the cliff
