World of Warcraft help, I don't understand this...?

Okay, so in the top left corner of the screen is your health and mana bar... and the small circle under it where it shows your level, shows me a ZZZ sign in a chat bubble looking thing. What does this mean?

You are rested.

Means you are in a rested area aka the longer you stay the more rested xp you get on the bar. Rested XP increases the amount of XP gained from kills. So say leave your character at an Inn or a City for a month you may come back and notice taht 5 bars on the xp bar are blue. That means you earn double xp while those bars are still blue.

When you are in a major city or an inn it will show that. It means that you are rested. Being rested for a long time will give you double experience when you kill monsters. When your experience bar is blue it means you are rested. And when it is purple it means you are not. It would be wise for you to log out in a major city or inn so when you play again next time you will gain 2x the normal exp.

It means you are "rested".

When your character is resting the portrait gets zzz and your rest time builds up. Rest time is a blue section of the xp bar with a threshold marker. You get double xp from all kills until you reach the threshold and have no rest time remaining.



EDIT - Not quests, as someone else suggested. Only double xp on kills.

Yep it's rested experience. The longer you are logged out or sitting in rested place the more rest exp you get. This will also help with gaining a level. It runs out though but can get it back after camping in a Inn/Capital city.



Also you will notice in the text........kill such and such mob for 800 exp (80 bonus rest exp)

means you're in a city and resting, if you rest long enough your XP bar will turn from purple to blue and you get double the XP for kills and quests



EDIT: it DOES NOT mean restED... it means restING... a blue xp bar means fully rested.. the zzz's just mean you are resting

It means rested. When you are in a main city or inn, you get rested and that gives you like 100% more exp or something. So when you log off, go somewhere where u get rested and u can get more rested points. ;]

It means you either haven't fought for a while or your in a town and your resting when you become rested you will earn double xp

yep that rested exp is a little bar on ure exp bar which progresses and until u get to that point with ure exp ull be gaining double

It means you're in a town where you are acquiring rested EXP.



If you log out there, you will get extra EXP for your kills for a period of time when you come back.
