It seems like ever since the advent of the 7th generation consoles, almost no video games today have cheat codes. Why is that? Do you wish we had cheat codes back?
Or are there cheat codes I am just not aware of?

There are still cheat codes, but I know what you mean. I miss the days I used to play gta3 in 2002-2003 or so with so many cheats on that I couldn't progress in the story. It was just some kind of fun you don't get anymore.

I dont mind it to much, the only games I ever really used cheats in where the GTA series, and that was only when i was either just dicking around or needed weaponry (becasue driving to the gunshop every time, pass...). The problem with cheats is that alot of people never took the time to play a game as it was designed to be played, they just start the game, tap in the code for god-mode and all-abilities and off they go.

Yes i do wish consoles had more cheat codes like in the past, and that's why i moved to Pc gaming. There are mods, cheats and commands you can type into the game "console" that will change the game in insane ways.
