Pokemon Ruby battle tower team help?

Question

i was thinking something like this:

Latios lv 50
thunderbolt or thunder
ice beam or blizzard
psychic
surf

kingdra
not sure on moveset

rhydon or aggron
im not sure whos better

im open for suggestions because im building this team from scratch

You can keep latios, but cut kingdra for two reasons:



1. It and Latios both share the dragon type

2. VERY little move versatility



I used to like Kingdra, but it only learns water and dragon moves (maybe a few ice move). Try Metagross instead of rhydon/aggron. He can use a type boosted metal move to hurt ice types who go after latios. Also, dragons are good against latios but bad against metagross. Give metagross a fighting move to counter latios's dark weakness. Latios covers metagross's weaknesses with surf. If you want to have a good water type, Swampert works. If you didn't get mudkip, then use gyrados with earthquake, waterfall, and then pick the other two. I would use waterfall instead of surf because gyrados has much better physical attack than special attack. Good luck!

Rhydon and Aggron aren't very good. They're too slow and too vulnerable to special attacks.

Latios is good, but I forget if you can get him in there.. I think so.

Kingdra is good as far as defense, but he doesn't really have much going for him.

Try a shedinja or a salamence, they're usually the best for that kind of thing.

On Blaziken, Rock Slide quite of Flamethrower could artwork, as would concentration Punch or Swords Dance for Earthquake. struggling with STAB makes little favor for floor strikes. Shiftry would favor to attempt Brick destroy quite of Synthesis. Lanturn poisonous for Supersonic and Thunder for Thunderbolt are recommended. i'd say poisonous sure, yet you are able to ensure on Thunder.
