if i go to walmart and get the sims 2, can i play it on my .mac?

Check the sims2.com website and check out the specs needed to play the game before you buy it. I'm pretty sure you can play it on a mac. You can also check the box before you buy it, the specs are usually on the bottom or the side. If you do buy be super careful with the package in case for some reason it doesn't work, that way you can at least get your money back. Sometimes walmart is really strict on returning computer games even if they don't work for you.

yea, there is a sim 2 for microsoft and one 4 mac, its the same game through.

yes you can. you need to install it for the mac. there might (MIGHT) be a sims 2 for mac, but im not sure. i know for a fact that the sims (regular) can be loaded for Win. and Mac.
