Even though they havent come out yet, i would like to know which one is probably is better buy based on the specs and prices. I had the xbox 360 previously and really like the xbox os microsoft has created, so i want to buy the xbox, but i noticed how the playstation 4 has better specs and better graphics capabilities so i dont want to regret my purchase later on when i notice how ps4 graphics are better.

You're not going to get much help on here. You'll most likely get fanboyish answers who will make up lies. It's best to just research it yourself and see what exclusives excite you most? I'm getting both, but i'll most likely wait one year or two before I get the Xbox one and get the PS4 at launch.

The reason is because Sony does a lot better when it comes to making exclusive games. They have more variety when it comes to their games. MS on the other hand, likes to focus more on gaining the biggest audience. So, they go and pay other companies like Activision and EA to make timed exclusives for their console. They get CoD Maps earlier and next gen, they'll get Battlfield content earlier. When it comes to their exclusive games, it mostly consist of action shooter games(Halo, Gears). And they do this throughout the generation. And to me, that can get boring.

The Xbox One has the stronger launch line up, but in the long run, Sony has more first party developers and they can do a lot more.

The internal specs for both are nearly identical, the PS4's are just slightly better, but not a huge difference in that department. If you're deciding which to get, you should base your decision on other aspects, such as exclusive games, which user interface you like more (which you said is the XB1 OS), and the price difference, as the XB1 is $100 more expensive. Honestly, don't buy a system just based on graphics, because they will be insanely good on either system and you probably won't even notice the differences between the two unless you play them side by side. Since you already like the XB1 OS more, look into the exclusives for that system and decide if they are appealing enough to you that you wouldn't mind the $100 price difference. If you don't really care for the XB1 exclusives, then either go with the PS4, or just wait until the XB1 price drops, because MS will have to lower it eventually to around the same price as the PS4 in order to be competitive.

Ps4. More powerful, cheaper, more game, awesome controller, and many online features.

Both have identical entertainment features now. I could care less about kinect. For the extra $100 I'd rather buy another game instead of some device I'll get bored of after a week.

Besides, planetside 2 on ps4 and infamous second son are too good to pass up. And the best looking console game this fall is on PS4, killzone shadow fall. The multiplayer runs native 1080p @60 fps making all other shooter look like a joke. Destiny also get exclusive content on ps4 and with 4 free2play games on ps4 at launch warframe, blacklight war thunde..... you'll never be short on games if u can't afford retail.

PS4 is the way to go now.

With Sony's beautiful, elegant design and excellent gaming performance the PS4 goes along way. I am so impressed with this console. I was a XBox 360 guy who dissed the PS3 all the time, but the tables have now turned. I switched from XBox to be a PS Fanboy. I bought a PS4 and a XBox One and i'm selling my XBox One.

Be smart , don't buy either for a couple mounts after they come out . I won't be getting an Xbox one until skyrim , halo, or destiny comes out . And if the Xbox one looks awful I will be getting ps4, even though I really don't wanna leave halo /: . So just wait , just cause one councle has better graphic capabilities doesn't mean a studio is going to work so hard till they reach a limit .

Playstation 4 - Cheaper, hardware is slightly better.

Xbox One - More expensive, comes with Kinect 2.0, hardware is a tad weaker than PS4.

I pre-ordered the Xbox One. Why? Because I've been with the Xbox 360 for a long time

Playstation 4 - Xbox one

Price: $399.99 - $499.99

Ram: 8gb of gddr-5 - 8gb of ddr-3

CPU: Single-chip x86 AMD "Jaguar" processor, 8 cores - 8 Core Microsoft custom CPU

GPU: AMD Radeon Graphics Core Next engine +1152 shaders - 853 MHz AMD Radeon + 786 shaders

Peak GPU Shader Throughput: 1.84 TeraFLOPS/s - around 1.31 TeraFLOPS/s

Storage: 500 GB Hard Drive (Removable) - 500 GB Hard Drive (Non- removable)

The ps4 has better hardware, much better graphics (I'd guess around 1.5x better) and is quite a bit cheaper. I'm 15. I've grown up watching my father playing the original xbox. Then started playing myself. I bought the xbox 360 and still play on it. But I'm afraid to say I'm switching over to the ps4. I thought the 360 was better than the ps3. But I feel the ps4 will blow the xbox one out of the water.

Don't worry, games will look identical regardless of specs. Look at the PS3, it blows the 360 away with it's capabilities but no game ever looked better on it compare to the 360, heck some games even ran better on the 360 than the PS3.

I recommend that you should stick with Xbox series, if you had the experience of xbox 360 and you like its Operating System then get yourself ready for xbox one, for a Xbox geek it will be a delight to have a better and upgraded version. I don’t think that there will be any big difference in graphics both systems are going to be smooth for new age gaming. Xbox one has powerful combination of CPU, GPU and 8GB of RAM, OS architecture would also be very innovative. Here you can glance more into xbox one:

Well PS4 has twice as many pre-orders as Xbox One. So based on the community, PS4.

I am a Xbox 360 person as well and if it was me, I would probably get the xbox one because I'm use to it.

But personally I would say don't get both of them and just get a gaming PC.

I think playstation is the better choice because they have better games and never screw you over(main reason)

I don't like Xbox because of that.
