Black screen when playing Cod mw2?

I have a problem!! please can someone help me!!!
Computer specs :
intel (R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @3.00GHz 3.00 GHZ
Ati Radeon HD 4850
4 gb ram
32 bit operating system
Direct x 11
Windows 7

Before i installed windows 7, i used xp, and this never happened.
I tried to play cod mw2, and everytime i enter a game, i can play for around 5 seconds, and then my screen goes completely black.. sometimes it freezes and it goes "server disconnect" Sometimes.. i get the black screen.. and i can hear myself shoot when i click.. and around 20 seconds later i can see again.. for a while...
Just wondering what the problem is??

keep checking the box on the server where all the kills are displayed aswell, it should display an error, something like maxpackets = 1 or graphvar = ...

Check if this is the case and write down what the error is, post it here or if you don't see any error at all you will need to reinstall or lower your graphic level ( windows 7 is more demanding on your RAM memory and your graphic card than xp so it can be that the game is too much for yoiur pc to handle now)



anyway, post what happend before you do anything i will check this question again in 30 minutes

Don't worry about it. MW2 is a terrible game. Just stick with MW1.
