How to fix World Of Warcraft?

I'm not a big gamer AT ALL. A couple of month ago, my friend introduced me to World of Warcraft and I played it for about two months.

Now about 3-4 months later I just updated my account, as it was "optimizing" it got stuck on 2.36 for about 2 hours. So I googled it and I read I should delete some files in the "Updates" and "Cache" folders. Maybe I deleted to many files or the wrong ones. Now World of Warcraft will not open.

I used the "Repair" thing that didn't work. And I can't uninstall it and reinstall it because it won't let me empty my trash can, it just say's "wow-0-16709-OSX-final.MPQ.lock" is in use.

Make sure you have admin rights and investigate why you can delete the stuff in the trashcan. As for it stopping while optimizing, I imagine a firewall is blocking it would be the most common reason. As a now professional gamer, and leader/co-founder of one of the current top ranking guilds on WoW, I can attest to what that guy said about the Zygor guides from that website http://www.zygorguides.pcti-system.com .. When I first started using them, is when I started taking my WoW gaming to a whole new level. I wouldn't be where I am today without them. As advanced as I am now, I still use them as an awesome reference/aid. Highly recommended if you're serious about being an accomplished WoW gamer, or just a newb looking to quickly learn the ropes and advance. On a side note, I am looking forward to the Warlords of Draenor expansion coming in November, and the updated guide to go along with it. Should be epic.

the in basic terms issues i'll imagine of comprise to reinstall wow or leaf by ability of your hard force and bypass dicerctly to the source of the game and open it from the icon there (and if that works make a sparkling shortcut for it on your computer) and dont pay interest to those those who dont play wow and dont understand how superb it really is

you may have to blowout your computer and start over I had this happen once to me and it was a malware Trojan virus
