Will my GTA 5 Online stats reset if I create a new character?

Hi. If I create a new GTA 5 online character and delete my old one, will my gta online stats that are on rockstar social club reset? Also I created my old character on October, if I were to delete him and make a new one now (in November) will I still get the 500000 in game money that rockstar said they would hand out?

Note: I want to create a new character and be able to reset my stats because I have been getting killed a lot and want to see if my stats will reset or if they will stay the same?

Your only able to sync 1 character at a time. So if you have a character in Spot 1; and you character in Spot 2, after you play with the 2nd character and it saves, all the stats on the social club in regards to your progress will reflect only the 2nd character.



If you click "Start" go to "Online" then "Switch Character" you can switch back to your 1st character, once that saves your social club will revert back to the progress created from the 1st character only.



They will not combine both character stats, nor will they total them up together.



I lost my first character due to a glitch, when they finally killed off that glitch, my stats from the social club tied to the 1st character reset and switched to the new character I created in the 2nd spot. They didn't combine the stats, and they only include the progress from your current active character.

Well, I like to say that my characters create themselves :) So I guess my style is pretty similar to yours. They may be based loosely on someone or something and a lot of them have certain of my own thoughts and characteristics. But all in all they just sort of "become" while I'm writing them. I think about how they would act, what they would do and if it doesn't feel right then I leave it out. As I'm writing a story I just let the words happen and usually the characters will just come alive at that moment.

No, You can make a new character and that will have the new stats but you can change your character in online from one to another in the options tab in online mode. But no it will not offset your already made character in GTA 5
