How to make people not be able to send me messages on PS3?

Yes, I know of the block button and I can disable messages received by no one other than my friends, but there's something that's bothering me. Sometimes someone is about to send hate mail to me and I know it and I have no choice but to receive it, but that's not the problem. The problem is that I don't want them to get the satisfaction of even successfully sending the message in the first place.

What I mean by this is I want them to attempt to send the message and something will pop up for them saying something along the lines of "This user has disabled......blah blah blah" thus the message is never sent and they don't get the satisfaction of sending it thinking that I've read it.

I know this is kinda complicated, but is there any possible way for me to block them so they can't even send the message in the first place? Thanks!

erm i dont think so

if i remmeber correctly there is a setting where people around the world cant send you messages but friend requests.

No, blocking all messages will cause them to still send on their end, you just won't receive them... Your best bet, is to do one of the following two things:



1) turn off your PS3 and never play it again.

Or

2) Stop being a little b|tch and take hate mail like an adult... Then reply with something twice as hateful!
