Is anyone else aware that the crowd on SWTOR has been reduced to immature kids like WoW?

Well soon there will be server transfers. I haven't had that experience at all.



I found something similar playing RIFT last year. I got on one of the RP servers thinking they were generally more mature in other games, but it was like trade chat in WoW. On 2 other servers, people were very mature. So, probably a server thing. I mean, there are only a few people per planet on most of the SWTOR servers at this point, so a few annoying people can have a big effect.

I think like any game there will be servers that are worse and servers that are more mature. RP servers seem to me to be less competitive and smack talking and others, like RP servers that tend to have a slight improvement in maturity. (Not a lit, but a bit more)



I have to say though, the PC games are still better than console games for maturity and etiquette.



Maybe do a little research on some SWTOR forums, get involved with a group or guild that is social amongst themselves to tune out the general chat. Servers transfers are coming soon and then you would not even have to re-level to find a space that suites you better. :)

Well a lot of the immature community from wow is now playing swtor. It was pretty obvious that swtor will have a shitty community, but i think most of the online games have em so just deal with it. Make sure to check out guild wars 2 by the way. I know i will play it for sure when it comes out. Heaps better than wow or swtor...or tera for that matter.

Every online multiplayer game with a large playerbase has this problem...



Anyone who leaves one game for another thinking that they're going to find a community that doesn't have a bunch of jerks in it is mistaken...

All online games are like that. What's sad is most of us adults that play can be quite immature as well.

as long as people can afford the game and have access to pc gaming, its no wonder that we can have a player as young as 8 yrs old.
