How much money would it cost to buy a Nintendo DS new and used? And where could I get one for the least amount of money?

EB games and gamestop sell both new and used, you'll have to call them for prices.. your cheapest option is a pre-owned Nintendo DS.. it is alto different from the DS lite though, you'll be sacraficing visual and sound quality and they are also not as compact.
This is what it looks like: http://www.dvdexchange-online.co.uk/Game_News/Consoles/Nintendo_DS/Nintendo_DS_console.jpg
Your nintendo DS lite has brighter screens, better sound, better button and mic placement, the stylis is thicker and in a more accessable place.. and looks like this: http://uk.gizmodo.com/nintendo_ds_black.jpg
But personally i would try and get a brand new one because of the warrenty.. 1 year through nintendo, i have seen alot of cases where the hinges have broken off.
If you want a DS for cheaper price, go into EB or Gamestop and trade in anything you can.

A new DS is about $130.00 plus tax. A used one isn't much cheaper because of the high demand. The cheapest route is to consider which games you would buy for the DS and purchase a used DS along with a game collection that comes with the titles you would buy anyway. Because of all of the bundling you won't pay retail like you would if you bought everything individually and brand new.
