I think it's just doing fine. It doesn't have that many games that appeal to kids as the DS but the PSP games are totally different than DS games. Would you want Crisis Core on a DS? Hell no. Thing would suck like hell. Final Fantasy Agito XIII? Nope. Many games the DS just can't handle.

yeah I was really surprised to read that article, I thought and still thinks PSP is the best hand held gaming system. it has better graphics and more uses. I guess it's just that adults and teenagers today don't play with hand held anymore and all the children like DS better because of the touch screen and cartoony games.

Hey I read that article on Yahoo the other day. Well I have a PSP Slim, in fact I just bought a new one today because my previous one was stolen at school. From my point of view the PSP is still the best handle console. The Nintendo DS may be selling more but it has nothing on the PSP. The PSP can be hacked, used for pictures, movies, games, internet, GPS and a whole crap load more. It also had much better graphics compared to the DS. I have no clue why there even releasing the new Grand Theft Auto game on DS and not on the PSP. The PSP is the best damn portable console today and I would never sell it for a cruddy Nintendo DS. Compared to the PSP the DS has horrible graphics and it could never entertain me. I use my PSP for mostly games and videos and internet but I'll buy a game for it now and then. I put my PSP in the car and hook it up to my radio and I have a blast with it.
To put it into little words the PSP is NOT failing from my point of view.

It depends on how you look at it. The PSP is better for those gaming teens who like violence in their video games. Like many other Nintendo systems, the DS makes games for the younger population and those who like to play cartoon games. I heard they they are making a PSP2 that also works as a cellphone not only by Skype but as a real phone. Also, I heard rumors that they stopped making new games for the PSP since you don't see the commercials anymore.
I agree that some games the DS can't handle are on the PSP like Crisis Core and the GTA games. There are rumors that they are making a GTA game for the DS. But some games on the DS would make the PSP a laughing stock. For example, My Sim's Kingdom and Mario Kart DS.

I think that no the psp is not failing it's just that the ds is still selling more but i reckon the psp has much better games and it will only be a matter of time before people realise it has really cool games i mean you would never find a hardcore game like god of war on ds so don't worry

PSP narrow & Lite is larger. you are able to deliver it everywhere. There are additionally AV cable recommendations for enjoying your video games on television or laptop computer screen. some video games even have multiplayer recommendations. bypass with the PSP.

I must agree its doing pretty good. I have one myself and i think its a real good system. It has many more uses than a DS thats for sure. My bro has Star Wars Force Unleashed for his DS I have it for my PSP. I have to admit it sucks majorly on the DS. The graphics just stink!!!!!

The PSP sucked on release.
Best thing to do for portable gaming is a gaming laptop. Much better games for PC
