Modern warfare 2 server connection timed out?

Question

whenever i go into multiplayer it'll find a game, i will be playing fine until about halfway through the game it will start to lag then it'll have the connection interrupted sign then it freezes. i wait a while then it goes back to lobby and say server connection timed out, then ill search for another game it will freeze again then take me back to the menu saying you must be signed into xbox live to play online games then ill lose my connection to xbox live completely. i DONT have a wireless router, so why is this happening?

Simple Answer: Its your internet dude like that dude said the company you use. I would suggest to turn off every computer in the house, like disconnect them from the internet so you could have better connection.

most likely there is some type of malfunction outside your home perhaps the internet company you use. is its raining or its windy it could mess with your server. many people have this probleme
