Christians, is playing The Sims game playing God?

I mean, what if you just play it for fun?

I was wondering that myself one day. But then I thought, well it's basically the same as playing with Barbies, you know? Also, drawing a picture of a person isn't playing God either, and drawing is similar to creating people on Sims. And I'm pretty sure that dolls and stuffed animals are ok, so Sims is ok too, right? I'm still not entirely sure myself, but as long as you don't go psycho killing them and stuff, then I'm pretty sure it's alright.

I still play because it's just a game and I don't think that God minds.

Nowhere near, God deals with billions of things at once. In Sims you struggle to look after one family.

There is no harm in playing Sims, I dont think playing any videogame is a serious problem even the violent ones.

I'm a Christian, I play the Sims and I'm pretty sure that I'm not damned to Hell for it. It's a game and only a game. I don't think we'll go to Hell for playing it. ^/_\^

ask Will Wright and Peter Molyneux.they are the real God who set up the rules in Sim City and Black & White.

It would be if the sims people came to life..but since they don't and it's just a game, no worries.

Uh, a miles cry from "taking part in God" with unfastened will on? it is nevertheless a working laptop or laptop application and pixels. Plus, you have a small selection of hair, changes. in contrast to designing the full human physique and all the intricacies.
