-If you have "foreign" fruit trees (fruit other than what your town started with) in your town, shake those trees. The ONLY way to get "foreign" fruit is to get it from someone else's town throught the wii Connect24 (I think that's what it's called)

You will only get 7 hits of money, it is possible to get 8 but then you have to stand on a corner and try to hit diagonal, which I have failed miserably at. Also there can be nothing (no flowers, patterns, trees, holes, etc) where the $ are or you will loose out on the money landing there.

I have several ways that will help you reel in the bells.

1. Money Rocks- dig 2 holes next to a rock. One in front, one to the side. Hit the rock with a shovel while standing by the rock. One hole at your back, one at your side. This can be done daily with a random rock. It will give 8,100 bells.



2. Fruit- and not your native fruit. Everyone says to go on wi-fi. Well, everyone is dumb. Send letters to the townfolk equipped with the native fruit. Some say to talk about fruit in your letter. Might help, but either way they will eventually send you back a non-native fruit. For the next two-three weeks, plant the fruit. Soon, this orchard will bring in big bells. You can earn hundreds of thousands of bells with a big orchard.



3.Fishing, Fossils, Bugs, and just plain selling stuff. Pretty self-explanatory. However, it's alot of fun to collect stuff in the museum.



4. Turnips. This can bring in huge bells, but is not much use until you are already rich. At first, I would advise you use red turnips. They can give you about 16,000 bells if you water them consecutively for a week.

For beginners, start with shells. I suggests that you sell coral, conch, white scallop, scallop, and pearl oyster.



Once you had money, you can start getting letters/paper to write to villagers you have in your town. You can get paper anywhere from Nook, Booker(lost items), or anywhere else you can think of.

You can mail them anything(but trash), like seashells, and write a simple message to them like "How are you?" or anything like that.



if you're lucky, they'll give you fruits. plant them at a spot that they'll grow for sure, and once it had reached its full length, shake the fruits off and plant more of them until you want to sell them.



if you have any friends over WFC that has friend codes, invite them over, or you go to their town, to "exchange fruits they have, if you are lucky to have different town fruits.



if you are lazy, just sell the fruits you have in your town. This process may be slow, though.



sometimes you see coconuts on the beach. plant them near the beach(but not on the beach).



rock money is one of the easiest way to earn money. every day, there is a specific rock that has money when you use a shovel against it. To get best results, do this following. (key: X=player, R=rock, H=hole/building/tree, $=possible money spots.) another money space is on where you are standing.

you can actually get a silver shovel to get more chance using the rock money method. to get this, go to the city between 8pm to 12am. go to the right of the city where there are cones. if you're lucky, the cones will be pushed aside and light will peep out from the hole. go in there, talk to resetti, and he will give you a silver shovel.

Well you can go to friends town and take their friut and plant it in your town then sell it or you can cheat and duplicate your money by going to friends town, friend saves game you drop money bags, go back to the gate ask to leave and when the trwily thing (that is telling that it is saving) is on the screen, hit the reset botton on the Wii or the main menu botton on the Wii romote the go to the home.
